Day 12- Here Comes The Sun

And I say it’s all right. Thanks George. Your song seems perfect for today. Sun, sun, sun, here it comes. It’s been simply beautiful the past few days. The trails are dry. The colors are more vibrant. The sky is bright blue. I am walking through farmland where cattle and sheep are eating their fill. The shroud has been lifted, at least for now. Sorry about the disruption in words, pictures and video but the power outage continues to affect areas. Yesterday, the entire town I stayed in had no internet. So, I could not create the blog entries even on my phone as it was way to slow to upload text and pictures. I have a good strong signal so I am writing Day 12 and 13 on the same day. The town I stayed in, Santillana del Mar is a beautiful town with lots of surviving medieval architecture. I was warned it would be touristy and indeed it was with lots of trinket stores but its beauty overcame that element. There was a church and a monastery. I spent time in the church and attended Mass at the monastery- both sources of spiritual renewal. I was having a hearty dinner in the square when Mike walked by. He sat down and ordered his own meal. He is a very interesting fellow and has hiked all over the world. We decided to walk Day 13 together. Stay tuned

Found it!
